On Monday, November 23, 2009 the Optimist Club of Lakeshore Village invited the Kitchener-Waterloo Humane Society to participate in an appreciation night for six youth volunteers of the Centre.

We’re so grateful that another group recognizes the importance of volunteering in our community. The youth that were chosen to accept these awards are Volunteers that go above and beyond in their volunteering duty. They may clean kennels, participate in special events, walk dogs and help educate the youth in our education programs.

These outstanding individuals earned an award and special recognition. Way to go! The award winners are:
