The Kitchener-Waterloo Humane Society (KWHS) fully understands how difficult the decision to euthanize a pet can be. Here at the KWHS our caring staff will assist you with the necessary arrangements at what is a very difficult time. Euthanasia’s are performed by a licensed Veterinarian and take place at 1:00 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Unfortunately we do not allow you to be with your pet while the procedure is being performed. We ask that you please bring your pet in for booking no later than 1:00 p.m. We can pre-book on the day of the procedure by calling our office at (519) 745-5615 between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
